正在改造的喀什高台民居

高台民居位于喀什噶尔老城东北端，建于高40多米、长800多米的黄土高崖上。16世纪形成现有建筑群，北崖曾是喀喇汗王朝王宫所在地。到访时正值改造，我们乘看守人取水之机溜进去参观。

高台民居位于喀什噶尔老城东北端，建于一处高40多米、长800多米的黄土高崖之上。公元9世纪中期，喀喇汗王朝在高崖北面建立王宫。16世纪形成了现在所见的高台民居建筑群。高崖原本南北相连，后来被洪水冲断，形成了南北两部分。北崖是喀喇汗王朝王宫所在地，南崖则发展成为现在的高台民居。

我们到来的时候正在改造，无法进入。走到一处改造工地，里面看守的人出来接水，我们就趁机溜进去看了看。
